Dollar General bogus 3 day sale

Spoke to Connie the clerk at Dollar General about 1:30 pm Thanksgiving Day asked if they have anymore camcorders left, she said “we had people waiting at 6am this morning and we sold all of them, we are not sure if a delivery will come the next few days or over the weekend with more”
Nobody go any Camcorders at the opening of the Logan Dollar General Store. My wife was the first in line, and first to enter the store and they had nothing for nobody.
Dollar General Store in Logan WV Promoting a bogus 3 day sale. Which was to take place Thanksgiving morning right at the crack of dawn when the store opened at 7am, and was to continue black Friday, and Saturday. Advertising that they had camcorders on sale for $25 Thanksgiving morning, a mixing bowl at $15, with many other items like a $5 blow dryer. The clerk claimed they only had 2 blow dryers, and only showing 2 DVD players available.
Instead the store employees reportedly purchased the items for themselves, and family members. My wife chatted up with 3 People who came from Madison, WV about 30 miles north, and others from Mingo County, and there were also Logan General nurses just finishing there shifts in the wee small hours of the morning to take advantage of the sale, but when the doors opened.
The store clerk said we did not have any of the items or did not know where they were, and gave vague responses like maybe we will have them later today or the next 3 days. The clerk was cutting boxes open in front of customers and said we have 2 mixing bowls and 2 blow dryers, and was pointing to shelves of where these items are suppose to be or where they should be.
The bottom line was the products were advertised for a November 26th sale at the opening of the store. If this store truly had 100 mixing bowls, 100 blow dryers and 100 camcorders. Dollar General would have sold every single one of these items, either in one day or over 3 days.
This was clearly a doorbuster sale that never really got off the ground. I guarantee you all the Dollar General employees at this store have these items right now as we speak snug as a bug under their prospective Christmas trees, and there is nothing left for there valued Dollar General customers at 115 & 117 STRATTON ST LOGAN, WV This is a sad and very poor way to conduct business. Especially in a bad economy where you here stories of businesses scrambling to stock there shelves this holiday season. Bah hum bug Dollar General.
