The Chief Logan Recreation Center will absolutely rejuvenate the area, and give the Logan County, WV kids, as well as the kids and adults in the surrounding counties something to do during the summer. I was recently given a tour of this massive facility. The Chief Logan Recreational Center contains 6 full acres. Its located near the Earl Ray Tomblin Conference Center.

Members will enjoy a walking track, tennis center, An Olympic-style 25 meter 8 lane competition swimming pool. A fitness center and a really cool pro shop.

I visited the Book Loft last April 2009; with my family during spring break. My wife was dead set on visiting this Columbus gem. I was at Quaker Steak and Lube a few weeks back frankly its been a while since I was there. I met several friends on a Friday night. I ate an amazing combo that show cased wings and ribs, very very good, but one of the big high lights of the evening was the karaoke. This is a real good time. Weather you got a voice or not come to the Quaker Steak and Lube have a great meal, and so much  great fun.

Taylor Books, clearly the best book store in Charleston hands down. They offer a wide variety of titles from fiction non-fiction, children’s books and more. On Friday and Saturday night they have live music. Cozy up to  the cafe have a cappuccino, espresso or a cup a tea while you read your book. I make a real effort to visit Taylor books when ever I’m in the city of Charleston.
